The industrial TV monitoring and control system operates with up-to-date computer network and image processing and transmission techniques，making it possible to provide rich，intuitive and easy-to-access information.The individual main equipment and process links can be visually refi ected on moni-tors for timely detecting various kinds of faults of controlled equipment or exercising supervision at unattended workplaces.

The front-end of the monitoring and control system is an integrated system composed by zoom cameras，PTZ recorders etc from where the signals are transmitted via special cables to the receiving end，i.e.the PC-based multi-medium monitoring and control host. The host can perform the combined func-tions of video matrix unit，image splitter and videorecorder. Therefore， the control system has a much simplified structure，and the monitoring software can support mulit ask concurrent processing operations.With the use of the powerful yet simple and easy-to-operate system， the overall plant can be brought under fully automatic management without the need for manual intervention.
